Kimberly Stephenson Eidle
Kim started riding, at the age of six-months old, by sitting with mom on a horse. By the time she was twenty-one months, she won her first leadline class at the Dutchess County Fair. From that time on, Kim has had a love for horses, not only in riding in horse shows, but also enjoying trail rides, mostly bareback, and spending time with her favorite pony, Lizzy Through most of Kim's childhood, she did mainly catch rides on other people's horses. However, when Kim was sixteen, a wonderful mare named Center Court, better known as "CC", entered her life. Kim's most memorable shows were Eastern States Exposition, where she and "CC" were Grand Junior Hunter Champion, and Madison Square Garden, where Kim placed in the ASPCA Maclay Kim went on to study Early Childhood Education at SUNY Cobleskill. After graduating with honors, Kim returned to horses. Now, Kim is a mother of two beautiful boys and enjoys teaching all children the joy and skills of riding horses. |

Shane Stephenson
Shane Stephenson was not always interested in riding a horse. He preferred Motocross! He very much enjoyed competing in this sport for most of his life, earning his Professional License in 1996. However, he grew up at the barn and rode a handful of times. Even then it was evident that he had the natural ability to ride and work with horses. When he was 16, Shane began to help his dad, Bobby, with shoeing during summer vacations.
At 25, Shane gave up Motocross and decided to give riding a try. He immediately took to the jumper division and has been honing his skills ever since. Shane enjoyed working with Mom, Tina, and eventually they jointly decided that Shane should also train with Jeff Cook at Hunterdon. On occasion, George Morris would be at the shows and also worked with Shane. During that time Shane won a Marshall and Sterling jumper class at the Vermont Festival on his horse "Cover Story". When Jeff moved back to Oregon, Shane continued to ride with Mom. Shane has a beautiful Daughter, Hayden Sky. Shane continues to shoe horses but hopes some day to ride and teach full time. |
